If you are eligible for a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP, you may be entitled to a Medicare rebate for up to 10 sessions per calendar year from 1 January.

The Clinical Psychology Medicare rebate is $145.25 per session.

Those with private health insurance may be eligible for a rebate with their health fund, depending on their level of cover. Rebates vary according to the fund & level of insurance.
